Suntech TenkaraBum 40

Finally broke down and added this rod to my quiver of sticks...Summary statement: Fantastic Rod! Fished it 3 days straight this last weekend and I must state that this rod is a joy to fish with. Light in the hand, very responsive, effortless casting with a variety of line lengths and weights, and enough backbone to be able to punch through the wind when needed...my only dilemma is I now have another "go to rod" when heading out to fish. I own more rods than I should (or need) and they all have their individual nuances but this rod is definitely at the top of my arsenal for overall performance. I really wished I had bought it earlier in my Tenkara path as there are other rods in my quiver that I would have not bought.

As age slows my pace, I will become more like the heron.

Warning:

The hooks are sharp.
The coffee's hot.
The fish are slippery when wet.
